Caning – History & Practicality

Date – Sunday, August 24, 2014
Time – 12:00-16:00

Interested in caning? In this workshop you’ll learn the basics to get you started. In this 4-hour workshop we’ll be covering things like cane materials, safety with canes, basic techniques and some more tricky ones, plus how to aftercare when the scene has finished.

The session will be run as a combination of theory and demonstration. If you’re curious about “striking out” in BDSM, then come along. There will be a supervised practice session at the end of the workshop, so bring along your own cane and a pillow that’s consented to be whacked.

BDSM Safety & “First Aid” (Risks & awareness)

Time – 10:00-13:00
Cost – $15

Have you ever wondered if you could handle things if something went wrong? Have you thought through your “What if” plans prior to a scene?

BV and Rastas, both have emergency response/medical experience for over thirty years which coincidentally is about the same time they have been in the fetish lifestyle. Join them as they present a workshop on how to avoid emergencies and what to do if something does go wrong.

This workshop is not intended to be a first-aid course, rather, it will assist participants in developing existing skills and knowledge in a kink/fetish perspective. Discussion will cover topics including “Risk: Perception and reality”, “Avoiding the unexpected” and “What do do when things go awry”

This workshop is structured as an interactive discussion based session with opportunities for participants to engage with others to seek answers to their questions. Remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question when it comes to scene safety.
